A stroke happens when blood flow to a part of the brain is interrupted or blocked. This can be due to a bleed or hemorrhage or a clot in the blood vessel.
Once a stroke has occurred, some brain cells gets damaged. Since brain is the center for our nervous system when it is affected our mobility and ability is lost or impaired, this depends on type and extent of stroke site in the brain.
